[0.00-7.00] Without warning on a calm afternoon, this bridge under construction fell at Vancouver, [7.00-12.00] British Columbia, with a frightening roar, first one spanned, then the other dropped 200 feet [12.00-18.00] into the water. Frogman and other rescuers searched the 44 waters and tangled wreckage in [18.00-23.50] the confused moments that follow the collapse. Some 40 men had been working on this part of the [23.50-40.50] $16 million structure. One by one the bodies are recovered. At the final count there are [40.50-48.70] 18 dead, another 20 men injured. First temporary support gave way in the outermost section [48.70-55.70] collapse. This pulled forward the concrete pier and the second spanned nose forward. Why is unknown?
