government planning to sue Canadians over social media posts. Tonight we find out. Welcome to the political orphans. My name is Nicol Aen. Last Friday, Blacklocks reporters broke the following story. I'm sure you've seen it all over the place, but Blacks was the first to speak about it. And here is what they had to say. Here's the breaking story of Friday, July 3rd, 2026. would sue over social media posts. Industry Minister Melanie Jalid's department in an access to information memo contemplates legal action against users on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media sites. It suspect of spreading false and misleading information. The censored 35page memo did not explain what action federal lawyers would take. Quoting, "This strategy seeks to uphold the integrity of and public trust in government information. Often, if you don't follow Blacks reporter, often they break stories. They're the first one to actually report on a story and often they are the only one after other publications will continue or talk about what they spoken about. But in this case, we can see I want to show you a article by the Toronto Sun and I want to take the time to actually go through it because as you know words matters and this article gives us a boatload of information that we need to look at because the memo is one thing because as it said it is heavily censored like it is heavily re redacted. But let's see what the Toronto Sun had to say and I'm going to break it down for you because this is where this whole thing becomes extremely extremely problematic, especially considering everything else that the liberals are currently doing. So, federal memo considers legal action against social media posting false information. We scroll down a bit. They talk about similar things as Black's reporter said, "A 35page memo to federal industry minister Melanie Jali contemplates legal action against Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media. It suspects of spreading false and misleading information. Now, before we get into this misleading, so it's the second time two different articles are using the same words and they're in quotes. Quote, false and misleading information. So, let's break down what misleading information because normally the words that we're used to hearing is misinformation. I know I lost my Facebook account for so-called misinformation during the co times. So, I know exactly what it is. So, let's look at the definition because the definition here really really matters. So misleading information is any content claims or facts that tricks you or gives you a false idea. It can be accidentally called misinformation or designed to trick you on purpose called disinformation. People use it to change how you think or make you buy things. Let's go a bit deeper. Misinformation. This is false or inaccurate information shared by mistake. The person who shares it does not mean to trick anyone. That's misinformation. Disinformation or Yeah. This information on the other hand, this this is fake news shared on purpose to cause harm or manipulate you. An example is an altered photo or video made to trick people. Now, let's go back to the article of the Toronto Sun. And what's the word they're using here right here? Misleading information, not misinformation. So they're not talking about going after people or social media platforms that spreads misinformation, but they're talking about false and misleading, meaning that you shared a post from someone that you believed was true. you are then misleading people. That is we need to be very very careful about the words or the lack of wording that they use in policies, bills, memos. But here it's false and misleading information. So, we're talking about regular Canadians posting or reposting, re-sharing so-called misinformation or mis misleading information is sharing so-called misinformation. Does that make sense? One is done on purpose, misinformation. One is done because they really believe that this is real information. Let's continue, shall we? Because here it goes deeper. It says, "However, the memo obtained under access to information doesn't explain what action federal lawyers would take." According to Black Lock's reporter, "This strategy seeks to uphold the integrity of and public trust in government information," states the March 31st memo. misinformation and disinformation strategy revealed Thursday. Again, they have both misinformation. Now, they're talking about disinformation strategy. The objective of the strategy is to establish a plan that will prevent, detect, and respond to false or misleading information. Managers already monitor the department's official social channel, social media channels, and media outlets on a daily basis for comments and recurring inaccuracies, says the memo. So, let's keep those in mind because now there's three words that we need to address. They said the objective of the strategy is to establish a plan that will prevent, detect, and respond to false or misleading information. So, let's address those three words starting by the second one. We'll finish with prevent. So, let's start with detect. What do they mean by detect? How would a government detect so-called misinformation? We've been talking about this a lot. At least I've been talking about this a lot. AI, this is how you do it. AI needs to be utilized. And remember, not only did they are they talking about preventing misinformation, but they also the memo stipulates that managers already monitor the department's official social media channels and media outlets on a daily basis for comments and recurring inaccuracies. So, this is already in place. What I'm going to be talking about right now is already in place. Is it the exact software that I'm going to describe? Who knows? But the government currently uses what they call enterprise AI software. So you're talking about massive corporation softwares that are meant to monitor multiple social media platforms simil simultaneously rather than relying on a single network. Top platforms probably being used. I have no proof that these are the exact software that are being used. Although I will show you a document that will show you the same AI software that I'm talking about here. So the main three platforms are Sprinkle, Brandatch, and Meltwater. Sprinkle possesses or processes massive amount of social data to identify misinformation and emerging threats before they spread again with that word misinformation. And what did the memo say? That they want to go after mis false and misinformation spread on social media platform. Now, Brandatch or Brandatch, the second software, extracts deep insight from large data sets to assist government agencies in analyzing broad public sentiment. So, if you think about it, they're almost interconnected. I would be curious to see if I dig more if Sprinkle and Brandatch actually speak to one another, if they can work with each other because it seems that they're doing two different steps. Now, Meltwater monitors millions of news sites and social signals simultaneously. Now, here's where things get very interested or very interesting, should I say. Here is a PDF that I found from uh let me add me screen. Uh share screen. Let's see. Where's my PDF? Where's the PDF? Where's the PDF? Uh window. Ah, there you go. So share. There is a PDF I found released here's a 39page PDF document released by NATO in 2024 called social media monitoring tools all indepth look in all in-depth look so here you can see it published by NATO strategic communication center of excellence you can find that online I found it super easily through a very simple Google Arch but one of the most important aspect is to know how and what data to gather. However, one of the challenges is getting useful insight from the gathered data as this is a process on its own. And this is what I've been talking to you guys over and over and over again. Big data. How do you make sense of all the data that's being created by your cell phones, by your laptop, by your social media post, by all the cameras that are installed everywhere, by everything that's looking at us, your smart TV, your Alexa listening to you all the time. How do you make sense of all that information? And this is literally on the third page. One, two, three, four, fourth page is how however one of the challenges is getting useful insights from the gathered data as this is a process on its own. As I've been saying, humans are not able to process that much big data. There's just too much of it. If you imagine your Excel spreadsheet as being a bucket of water, big data is literally a waterfall of data that never ends. [clears throat] It just continues and continues and continues and it gets bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger because the more devices are installed are listening they're gathering information the more big data is created. But if just look here if you look at their table of content right here overview of tools oh it took me all the way down my apologies. Let's go back. overview of tools brandatch which I just mentioned I actually found that document after I found the three top softwares that are used by governments throughout the world. Then if you go a bit lower, sprinkle. This is this is another one I was talking about. And then melt water. Funny enough is looking at this Buzz Sumo is a software that I have used back in the day like years and years ago. And this makes sense of of news. You can go on Buzz Sumo. It's probably like 200 bucks a month to have it, but it will gather all the information that is being spread considered news. you can gather and make sense of it on on uh Bus Sumo. Same thing for Sprout Social. This is something that's been around forever. As a podcaster, I've used that software before. So you're seeing that our government in the memo is clearly indicating that they want to prevent they want to look at the data that is being or detect. Let me use the real words here. So the three words that they used Oh, let me leave that here. Bang bang. The three you the three words that they used is to ah where were they losing am I losing my mind here? I do not believe so at least not right now. Ah there you go. Three things they want to do. Prevent, detect, and respond. So we just looked at detect. Now let's look at the second one respond or the third one because we're going to finish by prevent but the second word I want to look at is respond. So detect use AI softwares to identify who is spreading so-called misinformation because obviously our government is going to be responsible now for telling us what real information is and what misinformation is. So detect we use AI software respond. Now this is where things get interesting because how do you respond to it? Unfortunately, as it is mentioned in the memo from earlier, they did not mention how it would be dealt with. All we know is that there will be legal consequences. So basically right here, let me reread what it said so we're all on the same page. It says that uh contemplates legal actions against Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media it suspects of spreading false and misleading information. They don't tell us that. That's a lot like the bills that we're seeing right now, like the bill C34, for example, the social media ban. They're telling us that they want to ban kids under the age of 16, but they're not going to tell us how to do it outside of age verification. Yet, there's multiple ways that they could do it, but let's not talk about that. Just trust me, bro. We're going to do it for you. This is the same type of information that we're seeing or the same type of lack of information that we're seeing here, but they detect false and misleading information. That's number one. Number two, they're going to try to respond to it. So, how are they going to respond to it? If we're talking about legal actions, are we talking about going after Canadians on the civil side? Because remember last week on Friday, remember I spoke about Bill C16, the Protecting Victim Act, also called the Gender Identity Rights Bill, who just became law. And I I showed you a document or a funny enough a good article shared by CBC of all people. And wait for a second, you're going to understand why. Because we're talking about civil suit here. We're not talking about criminal court. We're talking about suing someone for their money. That's basically what we're what we're talking about here. So I wanted to remind you of that. Bill C16 and especially this document that you're looking at right now. And Brenda Cosman is a law professor at the University of Toronto. And Jared Brown is a commercial litigator at Brown Legislation who often works with corporate clients on employment law and human rights dispute. I just need to remind you of who they are. But here is the question CBC asked them. If someone refused to use a preferred pronoun and it was determined to constitute discrimination or harassment, could that potentially result in jail time? Brown's answer, it is possible through the process that would start with a complaint and progress to a proceeding before a human's right tribunal. If the tribunal rules that harassment or discrimination took place, there would typically be an order for monetary or non-monetary remedies. A non-monetary remedy may include sensitivity training, so re-education issuing an apology or even a publication ban, he says. He continues, "If the person refused to comply with the tribunals's order, this would result in a contempt proceeding being sent to the divisional of or federal court. The court could then potentially send a person to jail until they purge the contempt." So, is that what we're seeing here? Because we're talking about going after people on the civil side, not on the criminal side like all the bills that I've been speaking about recently, but on the civil side. So, are we trying to get them to a criminal court somehow through the civil process or is the government simply planning on suing you into bankruptcy? Those are the questions. We don't know. I'm not I'm not claiming here. Let let's be let's be on the same page here. I just want to make sure I'm not claiming that I know the answer. I'm just connecting the dots and I'm asking questions because nobody else out there seems to be connecting the dots that I'm connecting for you guys right now. Nobody seems to be trying to connect that memo with all the bills that are being passed, all the policies that are almost all passed as law and how will they affect us? But I'll give you an example. Tomorrow I have a guest. I've been trying to get him for a while now. So I'm very happy that he's joining us. Barry Newfeld, if you know the guy. If not, he's being sued by his old school board for $750,000 and that went through the Humans Right Tribunal in BC. So, he's going to be on the show yesterday to talk about his suit and what's happening. But he was telling me that just in translating in going through all the information from the human's right tribunal, it has cost him more than 30 grand and they're looking to get $750,000 from him. And the reason I brought C16 is exactly that. You have two pathways. They could somehow if you refuse, if you continue spreading misinformation, and I'm quoting here obviously, but if you continue spreading misinformation, does that mean does that mean it could become a criminal case against you? And even if you stop, could they sue you into bankruptcy? Cuz that's the reality here. We're not talking about criminal court. We're talking about our government using our taxpayers money to go after us because they want somehow they want to control information and decide what is acceptable information and what is considered misinformation. Because here is here is where it continues and this is very troublesome. People need to realize this. New measures will be used to transition from a reactive stance to one that is focused on prevention and early detection. It said the memo. This will enable the department to proactively address false and misleading information. This takes us to our third word that they keep on that they referred to earlier. First was prevent, detect and respond. We address detect AI softwares respond or they going to sue you and then we have prevent. How do you prevent this? Is suing somebody into bankruptcy enough to crush the scent? Because how many cases is it going to take for the average Canadian to stop spreading misinformation? Again, every time you hear the word misinformation out of my mind, out of my mouth, imagine that there's air quotes even though I'm not making them. So, is $750,000 enough to scare other Canadians into not speaking their minds online? Because right now, it seems that the memo is talking about their social media platforms as in their account on X, on Facebook, on Instagram, and I'm talking about the government, the minister of industry, Melani. But a thing to remember is Bill C8. Bill C8 is the same bill that will give or that has given because this has become law. Now this is the law of the land in Canada. Bill C8 has given Milan Jali the same minister of the department of industry, the one that that memo was leaked from is the same department that under Bill C8 now has the power to prohibit a telecommunications service provider from providing any service to any specified person, including a telecommunication service provider and direct a telecommunication service provider to suspend services for a specific period any service to any specified person including telecommunication service providers. So persons. So the same department that is talking about going after misinformation, suing Canadians with their own money, with taxpayers money for spreading so-called misinformation, is now the same department that has the power to cut you off the internet if they believe that you are a threat to the Canadians telecommunication network. This is what the memo is. This is what the memo is saying. So see it that way because let let's connect everything we've been talking about recently because this is the reality that we're facing in Canada. Bill C9 defines what is considered hate speech and has removed the good faith protection that religious texts like the Bible had under the criminal code. This new memo shows that our government wants to prevent, detect, and respond to so-called false and misleading information by suing Canadians with taxpayers money. Bill C16 makes misgendering someone on purpose a civil and potentially criminal offense. Bill C22 gives our government access to all our metadata without ever defining what metadata is. Bill C34 will usher in digital IDs by implementing social media bans. And don't forget Carney's new AI for all program will provide the AI infrastructure needed to enforce this memo that we just spoke about and all these bills and policies that I just mentioned. And as I said before and I will say it again, everything the liberals are doing is interconnected. It is all part of the same agenda and it is time for regular everyday Canadians to wake up because this is coming and it's coming fast. Now, the questions I have for you guys because it's all about the questions. We're halfway there. I want to spend the next 30 minutes just taking your comments, addressing your concerns. I want to know what you guys think. So, here are the questions I have for you today. First, what do you guys think about that memo? Do you think that I'm on to something here or like a lot of people, a lot of Canadians believe that I'm just someone that sees conspiracy theories everywhere and I really want to know your opinion. I want the people that disagree with me, and it's okay to disagree with me. This is the whole point of this. I want to be able to have those conversations with you. I want to talk about this. I want you to think I'm wrong. Let's talk about it. This is the whole point. I'm not looking for a nickel chamber here. I want to know, do you think I'm on to something or am I just a conspiracy theorist that is too far down the rabbit hole? Also, what do you guys think is the solution? Do you think that we can vote ourselves out of this? Do you think that we can stop what's coming? Does it need to get Does it need to get worse before it gets better? Is it too late for Canada? Does Alberta independence give you hope? What happens if in October the Liberal the the Alberta independence doesn't go forward? Is does the solution become leaving Canada? Is the solution to become self-sufficient and not be part of the system in a hope they leave you alone? Those are the questions I have for you guys today. Let me know what you think in the comment section. I'm really really curious to know if you guys want to support independent media. I happily accept donations. You can donate right here in the comment section on YouTube. But if you want me to keep 99% of the money, you can buy me a coffee at buy me a coffee.com/nicolagen. But even if you don't donate, that's fine. Make sure to like, make sure to share, make sure to subscribe if it's your first time here. But I want to hear from you guys. So, make sure to comment and let's take your comments. Now, let me load the comment section. And here we have it. There's a lot of comments and I know there's going to be a lot of good ones. Um, let's start right here. Brian Watson is saying, "We're all in trouble with power toll. Shall power trip hates social media." We are definitely in trouble. that I agree with you. Well, you're only in trouble if you speak against the government. If you go with the agenda and you just be a good citizen, you're not in trouble. You'll be fine. You'll be able to continue consuming all the social media you want. Watch all the Netflix series that you want. You will just have to live in the 15minute city and not be allowed to leave. But outside of that, you'll be fine. Just you just need to comply, right? Uh Wilf is saying I think she hates everything everything thing thing. Yes, I agree that she is not a pleasant woman. She seems to be a very very hateful woman or or unpleasant woman at least. B Car Wendy. Car Wendy. Yeah, B. Car Wendy. That includes politicians, right? Yeah, that's funny. Now that's funny. That's really funny. I love the sarcasm here because obviously not. There's always a rule for us and a rule for thee and clearly this only applies to us and not them. Did you not see the news today that Mark Carney, there's reports saying that Mark Carney is not even using his government provided cell phone to contact his people in Europe, that he's using a European cell phone that is not tracked by CES, the RCMP that is not part of the Canadian government. Remember who did that to? Her name was Hillary Clinton. She was using a personal email in order to speak to other world leaders. What happened to her? Nothing. What's going to happen to Carney? Nothing. So obviously your comment was sarcasm. But yeah, wouldn't that be interesting if the same rules they're pushing on us would also be pushed on them? But clearly this is wishful thinking that is never going to happen. Claire Rabbit is saying, "The greatest disinformation in recent years was safe and effective." I love how you use the right word. Good for you. You're an intelligent woman. You did not use misinformation. Cuz remember the difference between misinformation and disinformation. Misinformation is shared thinking that it is true. Disinformation is shared knowing that it is wrong. It is created knowing that it is wrong. So yes, I agree with you that the greatest disinformation in recent years was safe and effective. Yet the memo we just saw, the whole point of this memo is to keep trust into the government information, into what the the information that the government gives us. So they want to keep trust in CBC. They want us to trust CBC is basically what we're hearing. Cliff is saying they are building a giant database for haters. C9 testimony in the Senate covered that AI will be used, but how will you define misinformation? Pat spelling a minor detail go to court to solve. Listen, if they control definitions, like perfect example, Bill C22, the most dangerous word in in Bill C22 is metadata. Metadata is not defined in Bill C22. This is not a mistake. They did that on purpose because metadata by not being defined can come to mean anything and that's the whole point. The same thing is true here. So you have a memo that is saying that they want to implement measures to detect, prevent, and deal with misinformation. But what is misinformation? Who's to define what misinformation is? Who gets to be the judge? Our government. and they get to be the judge, the jury, and the executioner at the same time because this is exactly what we're saying. But one thing that's that that's interesting about Bill C, and when I say interesting, I'm not saying that it's a good thing. I'm just saying it's worth noting. Let's say that instead. Bill C9 provides the template of what is considered a hate speech. What can you and cannot say that is considered a hate? This memo addresses the content that is not considered hate. See how See what they're doing here? They're really addressing both side of the equation. So if your content, your comments are considered to be hateful, they can go after you through the penalties of Bill C9. If your content is considered not hateful, but they don't like it because you are not agreeing with them, they can call it misinformation and then sue you on the civil side. So they're basically covering both side. Hate, whatever is not whatever is hate goes under Bill C9. Whatever is not hate, they call disinformation and they can sue you. How long do you think that's going to take for Canadians to stop speaking their minds on social media when they can either end up in jail or lose everything and go bankrupt through the implementation of what they spoke about in this memo? And this is all being done with your money, with taxpayers money. The government wants to sue you with your own taxes. This is the reality we're facing. Um, let's see here. I'm over this, too. Everything posted before the law was implemented, they can't touch. I'm not sure. Everything posted Everything posted before the law was implemented, they can't touch. I'm not sure what you mean by that. So, let me let me Yeah, explain it to me again cuz I'm not sure I understand. I want to make sure I do understand. Uh, Wil Wolf is saying, "You have had a long day, Nico. Good reason to be loosening it or loosening it or losing it because I do lose my my my mind all the time." But yeah, I have long days, man. I was up at 3 this morning. So, yeah, it's been a long one and I'm freaking hungry. Uh, Peter saying, "So, will they sue the CBC?" Now that's funny. Again, sarcasm I would imagine, but obviously not. Obviously, they will not be suing CBC because I guarantee you that just like during the COVID times, they will have fact checkers, government provided fact checkers that will be based on the narrative being pushed by CBC. If you disagree with CBC, then what you're saying is misinformation and they can sue you. This is literally 1984 in the making that we're seeing right now. We will have soon enough in Canada a Department of Truth. But that being said, guys, I want to hear I'm going to scroll down a bit here just so that I can see what you guys solutions are because I stopped talking. Well, I'm always talking. I stop talking around 30. So, let me see uh what you guys solution. What what do you guys think is the solution? Is there a solution? Can we get out of it? Is it too late? Is the solution Alberta independence? That that gives you Does Alberta independence give you a hope? What happens? I was just talking I was on uh Jason Lavine's show this morning and that's one of the things we were talking about this morning. What happens if Alberta independence in October is decided that is will not go forward? that it will not be put to a real vote. What happens then? What do you guys are doing? Are you guys staying in Canada? Are you guys going to live in going to sell everything you own to go live in the woods and start a homestead? Are you guys going to live leave and go to the US? Are you guys going to stay here and fight? Do you guys know? Do you guys are fully aware that it's going to get worse before it gets better? What are you guys thinking? And that's really what I'm I'm trying to understand where you guys's minds at because I don't even know mine. I have ideas, but I still don't know what the correct plan is. Even though I speak about this every day, I still do not know what the best course of action. But I'm curious to see what you guys are thinking. So, we'll start right here. Uh Austin Glee is saying the Nazis established the right ministry of public enlightenment and propaganda. I am not going to read the German portion. Created in March 1933 and led by minister that we all heard of Joseph Gerbles. The ministry was the central institution for state enforced censorship and psychological manipulation. The ministry functioned by total media control, regulating all mass media in Germany, including the press, radio, film, theater, and music, cultural purges, censoring art, and literature that did not align, I would imagine, is the rest of that comment. Very well said, Austin. I agree with you a thousand% and I highly believe that this is exactly what we're seeing right now. The implementation stages of what we're seeing right now. The only massive difference and this is the biggest difference. This is the biggest problem that we're facing is not that our government is not the first government to try this. The problem is that the government has never had the power to implement it the way that our government can implement it. And when I say our government, I'm not just talking about here in Canada. I'm talking about the West. I'm talking about China. I'm talking about all over the world. We have the AI tools that can do the jobs humans have never been able to do. analyze all that meta, analyze all that metadata, analyze all of that big data and connect it together. Cuz remember guys, Bill C9 defines what you can and cannot say. This memo decides what is considered misinformation. Then you have bill C22 that requires electronic service providers or core providers to save your metadata up to one year just in case the government needs it. And Bill C34 will create social media bands or if you like digital IDs that will connect all of your social media to your name. So basically through Bill C8, Bill C16 or not Bill C16, Bill C22, Bill C34, you have everything to set up your social media accounts under your name and see if what you're talking about, if your comments are either hateful or disinformation. They have two avenues to deal with you. And the minister that's responsible for that memo is also responsible or has the power today to cut your internet to force internet service providers to cut your internet and prohibit others from selling you internet. And how are they going to do it? Through AI. And Mark Carney's already spoken about this. There's a program called AI for all that I covered on this show that is establishing financing. From memory, it's $60 billion to be invested in AI companies in Canadian AI companies. And it is stipulated in the program that the biggest client of those companies will be the government. Why would the government need so much AI to enforce what we're talking about here to enforce bill C8, bill C9, bill C22, bill C34. That is why the government is investing so much money in AI. And by doing that they will also control what chat GPT says, what Gemini says, what Grock says, what Claude says all through Bill C34 because they're not just going after social media platform the regular social media platform that you think about the Facebook, the X, the YouTube of this world. They're going they renamed social media platform by social media services. So, anything that connects to the internet is considered a social media service. My apologies. Everything that has a community will be considered a social media service. But what application, what website doesn't allow you to leave comments nowadays? They all do. So basically all of the websites out there, something like your favorite news site will become a social media service. Your if you're a fan of traveling, Travel Velocity could become that. All the places, all the websites, all the applications, all the games that are out there that allows for comments to be made are going to become social media service and can be regulated. So, you see how everything I've been speaking about since last year, since September last year, is all connecting. And now we have a memo that wants to sue Canadians on the civil side in case your comments are not hateful. Um, outside looking in 100% global. So, I would imagine that you are in agreement with what I'm saying. You don't think I'm a conspiracy theories conspiracy theorist stuck down the rabbit hole. Uh Trevor AR is saying super scary Supreme Leader Carney keeps getting more and more power. Canada is changing from a democratic monarch to a one party authoritarian state. We need a longterm party, a new long-term party. Well, it that party doesn't exist, my friend. Sorry to disappoint you, but we already have I think you're sadly mistaken if you don't believe that we have one single party as we speak right now, because we do. There's no difference between the Conservatives and the Liberals. They're both left-leaning parties that are mostly in agreement with one another. when it comes to the fundamental things like surveillance for example censorship because don't forget guys PV does believe that the government need better tools to catch online predators if you need better tools to catch predators the only way to do it is to have the AI type of softwares that I've been talking about and monitor what everybody is doing if they knew who the predators they would arrest them. At least we would hope so, right? But in order to find out who those predators are, you need to monitor everybody. Monitor everybody means surveillance. That is what Bill C22 and Bill C34 is all about. And unfortunately is not against social media bans. There's a lot of MPs in his party that are in favor that have been asking for social media bans. So unfortunately, at least in Canada, this is not a political thing. This is really them against us. That's the reality. This is so it's very, very scary. Yeah, I think scary. Dystopian is probably the best term I can use right now. But yeah, it is. We definitely have a one party in Canada. That's the way our system is. And for the people out there, don't believe that our system is corrupt. Our system isn't corrupt. Our system was designed this way to sell us the illusion of choice. So be careful. Um Derek, what's going on, brother? A positive walk away vote for Alberta would be a Clarion call to freedom for all of Canada. Yeah, you know, I do hope that you are correct. I do hope that you're correct. I've always going to be I'm always going to be paying very close attention to what's going on in Alberta for that reason alone because it is it has become a very interesting question for me at least in my family. Where do we stay? Do we stay do we stay in Canada and fight? Do we move to Alberta if the independence vote goes forward or we do we go to the US or do we end up where I've always wanted to go more than a decade ago way before all this nonsense really started appearing and being hard to miss or impossible to miss South America. I spent a lot of time down in South America. I love the weather down there. Love the people down there. So what is the best solution? And I don't know, is it just to buy a piece of land in either Canada or the US and just start being independent and rely on yourself alone and fight the system while being outside of the system because that's the only way you can really fight the system is by being out of the system. Remember Matrix, right? They didn't fight the system within the system. They're fighting the system by being disconnected from the system. And the same thing is true in this situation. So, what do you guys think? Uh, let's take some more comments cuz man, there's a lot of comments. Let's see if I can find one from someone that I haven't addressed. Uh, hey, there's a lot of comment. Uh Wesley Snipes is saying, "It seemed to me from the past weekend UK law are now aligning with what Carney is doing here." Uh I would tend to disagree with you. It's the other way around. We're aligning with what the UK has been doing. The UK is ahead of us. The UK is quite a few years ahead of us, but we are on the same path as the UK. where it was uh I believe it was either I believe it was Mark Miller that said that we were behind what's happening in the UK and in Europe and in Australia that they need a bill like Bill C22, a lawful access bill because we are the only country in the west that doesn't have one. We are behind. So yeah, we are unfortunately we are well unfortunately not necessarily unfortunately just it's just a fact we are behind the UK but we are catching up pretty damn fast. Like Carney is not messing around. In my opinion Carney has done more damage to Canada in a year than Trudeau did in 10. We can argue on that one probably. We can have a discussion on this one. we can. And I don't think that there's a way for me to be proven right or wrong. Neither if you believe that I'm wrong. There's not really a way to prove you right or wrong. But it's hard to argue that Carney has not been worse on Canada. Has not caused more damage in Canada than Trudeau did over 10 years. And again, I was having the discussion on Jason Lavine's show this morning, and that's something we've spoken about before. Carney is not looking to become prime minister for years to come. I highly believe that he was brought in to finish what Trudeau started. And once his term is done, he's gone. The damage is going to be gone. They're going to leave whatever's rest of Canada to somebody else. Maybe Pv is going to get his turn to rule over the ashes of Canada, but we're not voting ourselves out of this. This is a fact. We are not voting. No matter who you vote for, they are not in favor of Canada. That's a fact. Uh concern, let's take this one from concerned Canadian. The government's placing a choke hold on Canadians and if Canadians don't stand up and do something, no one is getting out of that hold. What to do? This is the question. Yeah, I agree. I ask myself this question every single day of my life. So, I agree. I totally totally agree with you. I do not know what the actual answer is. There's different there's definitely different solutions here, but which one's the best one? I don't know. But I think one thing we can all agree on is that it's going to get worse before it gets better. At least no, everywhere I look, every time I think about this, all the time that I've spent pondering this, I do not believe that there's a easy way out of what we're facing right now. We're going to have to go through a lot of hard times in order to have good times again. And they might take a long time. We still have time though. We still have time because the goal is always 2030. This has always been the goal, 2030 and 2050. But what's the solution? That's a good question. That's my question to you guys. Um, Peter is saying, "I see Jesus as a teacher of values. The religious zealots are getting annoying and in America, we separated the church from the state for a reason." So, okay. So, Jesus was a teacher of value. So, you don't believe that he was God in human form and he was and he gave his life for your sins. That's fine. Um that's how I started reading the Bible is as a text of common sense is basically a psychological tale is how I uh started reading the Bible. That is not what I believe it is now anymore. But that's how I started reading it. The religious zealots are getting annoying. What do you mean by the religious zealots are getting annoying? Because I spent a lot of time in America in the US in America. spent a lot of time down in the south. We did over two and a half, three years. My wife and I did 30 states in RV, so coast to coast to coast. So, I've been all over the place. We've been all over the place. But in America, we separated the church from the States for a reason. Yeah, we did that, too, in Canada. But can you do you not agree that the US and Canada were founded on Christian values? Because they were. If you look at the history, our value system, at least what our value system used to be, was based on Christian values. So what do you mean by the religious zealots are getting annoying? I'd be very curious to know what you mean by that because what what constitutes a religious zealot? Cuz am I a religious zealot? because I believe that create that Christ died for my sins and your sins. I also believe that abortions murder. I also believe that free speech there's no gray zone to free speech. I also believe in the second amendment like the first and the second amendment are the two best pieces of legislation ever tabled if you ask me. But what makes me a religious zealot? that I believe that it's going to get worse, but that we win at the end because the Bible tells me, the Bible tells us that it's going to get worse before it gets better. But we win. Christ comes back and turns turn this place into a utopia. So what is your definition of religious zealous? Because personally as a Christian I think that the only reason we are in the mess that we find ourselves in Canada and a lot of the US is because a Christian are so complacent. Christians became so complacent. They're not fighting for their country anymore. The country that they themselves founded. And this is my biggest problem with Christians. They don't stand up for anything anymore. They're scared to talk. They're scared to be considered hateful. Yet, look at what's happening right now. We have a bill C9 that is passed that is going to that removed the good faith protection from the criminal code. Meaning that the Bible could be and will be considered hateful because Mark Miller, our minister of culture, already said so. And he's a so-called Christian. So, just imagine Uh, let me see for we got three minutes. Let me see for a comment from someone that hasn't We'll take this one right here. In Colo, Canada is secular is a secular infidel country. That's why there's an immigrant takeover. The white Canadians are stupid and weak. Hey boy. Um, is the only reason it do do we see a replacement in Canada? 100,000 million%. Mass immigration is meant to replace the white Canadians, the white Europeans that built this country. 100%. I agree with you a,000 million% on that one. Are we stupid and weak? I don't know that I would call ourselves stupid, but are we weak? Yes, I also agree with that 1,000%. We're complacent. Like I was just saying, we are yeah, complacent. I think it's probably the best polite word I can use right now, but we are very weakminded and we let it happen to us. And just because we're too scared to be called Islamophobe or anti-semitic or whatever the anti you want to put there, hateful, whatever. We're scared. We don't want to talk against anything that's happening to our country because we're scared to be called names. We we're scared to be labeled names. That's what's happening right now. But what's always interesting is that if you look at history, if you look at the UK, if you look at France right now, Islam aligned with leftists to gain control, to become very affluent, to reproduce, and to reproduce, and to reproduce. Yet Islam does not share any value in common with leftists. They don't they're not liberals at all. They're very conservative in their views. Agree with their values or not is irrelevant, but their values have been around for hundreds and hundreds of years. So, they're considered conservatives. They're not progressive. They're just playing the game. They're lying in order to get in the positions of power that they are. And at the end of the day, Islam is a political system. So yeah, it's very it's always very interesting like the queer for Palestine being the biggest irony and oxymoron out there. The same people that support an Islamic state would be thrown off a building for being gay. So that's the irony of it all. On that note, guys, eight right on the dot. Let me remind you tomorrow we're going to be talking. We're gonna have an I I have a guest on the show tomorrow. I've been trying to get him for a while now. So, I'm happy that he agreed to come. Barry Newfeld, which was a school administrator from memory. I he wasn't a school teacher if I remember correctly, but he is a school administrator if my memory serves me right, but he was part of the school system in BC. He was sued for being hateful by the Human Commission of British Columbia and was fined $750,000 for what he said. And tomorrow he joins us to talk about this. We're definitely going to be talking about Bill C16. We're definitely going to be talking about his suit, his case, and what might be the future of Canada based on the memo that we addressed today. So, on that note, 7:00 p.m. Eastern time tomorrow, join us with Barry Newfeld. Before I let you guys go, make sure to like, make sure to subscribe, make sure to comment.
