## Election verification
Direct fresh HTTP captures of ElectionsBC homepage,writ notice and election page confirmed October24 general election,October16–21 advance voting and cancellation of the Abbotsford–Mission by-election. Already-cast by-election ballots do not transfer;voters must vote again. Local elections remain a separateOctober17 event. A generic cached extraction initially returned the old by-election homepage;it was superseded with current direct official pages,not relied upon.

The CanadianPress September22 updated report provides Eby’s stated trade-war rationale,opposition/municipal criticism and same-day caucus realignment. Statements about motives are attributed,not independent findings. Seven CentreBC legislators returning to the Conservatives is not a verified agreement uniting the Conservatives,CentreBC andOneBC. No outgoing contact or quote requests were made.

No public comments or sentiment sample were supplied or inferred.

## Fiscal methodology
All seven rows were checked. CurrencyCAD. Values in the ledger are signed millions:positive surplus,negative deficit. Historical sources and current quarterly tables were compared by fiscal year and publication vintage. The latest comparable historical series is TableA4 on printedp75/PDFp83 of September2026 FirstQuarterlyReport. Its footnote1 says figures have been restated to reflect current government accounting policies. Thus2022/23 actual is956million in that current series,while the original2023PublicAccounts release reported704million. Neither equals the5732million November2022Q2forecast. Presenting only704million as the latest comparable value would miss that restatement.

The first-quarter forecast is a September14 baseline,not a costing of every later campaign promise or announcement. Targeted backup,concurrent-change hash checks and live readback are required before claiming publication.
