It was administered by a third party before April 1, 2026. Table 1 reflects program activity under the former third-party administrator between June 1, 2021 to November 30, 2025. This was prior to the launch of the Vaccine Impact Assistance Program on April 1, 2026. PHAC will update this page to include the remaining data from December 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026 as soon as that data is available. Some categories may overlap, and a single claim may appear in more than one stage of the process. For this reason, the figures should not be added together. Transition to the Vaccine Impact Assistance Program PHAC is updating approaches to data collection and reporting under the Vaccine Impact Assistance Program. We'll publish updated statistics for the program in the coming months. As part of the transition, PHAC received information from multiple data sources from the former third-party administrator, including over 350,000 documents for ongoing and completed claims under the former Vaccine Injury Support Program. Approximately 2,000 existing applications will be reviewed and processed under the Vaccine Impact Assistance Program. Page details: 2026-06-29
