0:00 So, our next witness is Rodney [snorts] 0:03 Palmer. Rodney, can you get can somebody 0:06 give him the Bible uh to put in his 0:08 right hand? Thank you. 0:14 >> Rodney Palmer, do you swear to tell the 0:17 truth, the whole truth, and nothing but 0:21 the truth? So, help me God. 0:22 >> I do. [clears throat] 0:23 >> Just want to introduce you to the 0:25 inquiry. uh you worked you worked as a 0:28 journalist in Canada for 20 years. You 0:31 were a general assignment reporter for 0:33 the Globe and Mail newspaper. You worked 0:36 as a daily news reporter at the 0:38 Vancouver Sun. Um you worked at CBC and 0:42 later you worked as a producer and 0:44 investigative reporter at CBC radio and 0:47 television. 0:49 you then uh went to be the foreign 0:52 correspondents and bureau chief for CTV 0:55 news based in India then Israel and 0:58 finally in China based in Beijing um and 1:02 we've asked you to come and testify 1:04 about the standard process of news 1:07 gathering versus propaganda at the CBC 1:10 during the time of CO and my 1:12 understanding is is that you have a 1:14 presentation for us and I'd invite you 1:16 to give that. 1:17 >> I do. Thank you. Thank you, Mr. Allison, 1:18 for holding this inquiry. Thank you, Mr. 1:20 Buckley. I worked at the CBC for these 1:22 times and I and at at CTV, but I was 1:24 primarily I was trained at the CBC from 1:26 a young age, a young journalist. I was 1:28 trained in their system. And [snorts] 1:30 what I observed very quickly during CO 1:33 was that the CBC morphed into the type 1:36 of broadcaster that I witnessed in 1:38 China, in Syria, in North Korea. It 1:40 wasn't the public broadcaster that I had 1:44 been trained as. It's I I believe it's 1:46 it's a state broadcaster and I'm going 1:48 to explain the difference between those 1:50 two things. A public broadcaster engages 1:53 in news gathering which is defined in 1:55 the Oxford dictionary as the process of 1:57 doing research on news items. And the 1:59 way it works is from the bottom up. So a 2:01 little reporter in a small town in 2:03 Saskatchewan will [clears throat] do a 2:04 story that's local and maybe Western 2:06 Canada becomes interested in it, maybe 2:08 the nation does and it goes up and it 2:10 becomes a national news story. That's a 2:12 bottom up. That's how the apparatus is 2:14 designed to work. That's a public 2:15 broadcaster. It tells the story of the 2:17 nation that holds us together and knits 2:19 us together by telling our stories. But 2:22 I heard it becoming a state broadcaster. 2:25 And a state broadcaster works on 2:26 propaganda. It uses the same apparatus, 2:29 the same anchors, the same reporters 2:31 right down to that little reporter in 2:32 Saskatchewan. And what it does, it's 2:35 it's defined in Oxford as the 2:37 intentional manipulation of public 2:39 opinion through lies and halftruths. 2:42 It uses the same apparatus, but it comes 2:45 from the top down. The government tells 2:47 us right down to that little reporter 2:48 and they all speak with a unified voice. 2:52 One of the first things I noticed was a 2:55 story on the national at CBC television, 2:58 the national news with Adrienne Arsenal, 3:00 one of the greatest broadcasters we 3:01 have, by the way. She's amazing in the 3:03 way that she is on camera and she's very 3:05 believable and trustworthy. But when I 3:07 saw this, I did not recognize it as 3:09 news. 3:10 So, what do you do when this happens? A 3:12 loved one, let's say it's your dad, 3:14 drops into the family group chat with 3:16 something he thinks is real. It's 3:19 something about China manufacturing the 3:21 Corona virus. There's a link to a site 3:23 you've never heard of with a message 3:25 calling it scary stuff. So, what do you 3:28 do with this? Do you ignore it? Do you 3:30 call them out saying how ridiculous you 3:32 think this is? So, hold back on all that 3:35 reactive talk. Maybe try something like 3:37 this. Yeah, these are scary times. We're 3:39 all a bit afraid, but let's be careful. 3:41 What you're sharing is inaccurate, and 3:43 it feeds into that fear we all feel. 3:45 >> Fear was what they were selling here. It 3:48 wasn't news. And more interestingly, on 3:50 April 4th, 2020, CDC had no idea that 3:52 this didn't come from a lab. I covered 3:54 the SARS outbreak in 2002 in Beijing, 3:56 and I followed the World Health 3:57 Organization, the virus hunters, 3:59 determining who was patient zero. And I 4:01 know that the amount of time that this 4:03 takes, and it hadn't been determined 4:04 yet. So, how did they presume in that 4:07 story, number one, that it wasn't from a 4:09 lab? They presented no evidence. There 4:10 was no news gathering. And more 4:12 importantly, they said, "Don't trust 4:14 your dumb old dad." That's what the 4:16 focus of this story was. Don't trust 4:18 your family member. So, this is another 4:19 thing that state broadcasters do. They 4:21 attempt to supplant themselves as the 4:23 arbiters of truth and divide you from 4:26 your standard, the person you seek as as 4:28 a as a true person, a wise person in 4:30 your life, in this case, your father. 4:34 So they had no evidence and yet they did 4:35 this this because this was propaganda 4:37 and I recognized it instantly. 4:40 Just a few days later, the Washington 4:42 Post did news gathering. It published a 4:45 story that there were safety issues at 4:46 the Wuhan lab. This is 10 days after the 4:49 Adrien Arseno's piece. Going back to 4:51 2018, the US embassy in Beijing had been 4:54 warning Washington about safety and 4:56 management weaknesses at the U the Wuhan 4:59 Institute of Viology that stated 5:01 specifically there was a potential human 5:03 transmission representing a risk of a 5:05 new SARSike pandemic. This is 2 years 5:08 before. Did the CDC come on 10 days 5:10 later and said, "Sorry, the Washington 5:13 Post has broken a story that we're 5:14 looking into that it might be from the 5:15 lab." No, they didn't do that. They kept 5:17 telling you, you know, it's ridiculous 5:20 to be from the lab. 5:22 The next year, Vanity Fair did a deep 5:25 dive and found five scientific papers 5:28 published seven years prior to that 5:30 broadcast by the scientists at the Wuhan 5:34 lab in public domain that showed that 5:36 they were creating a brand new 5:38 infectious pathogen, some 5:40 Frankensteinian bacteria that or virus 5:43 rather that was merging the SARS 202 5:47 virus with a new bat virus. They said 5:51 there were safety deficiencies at the 5:52 Wuhan lab. They said there were 5:54 genetically engineered rats with 5:55 humanized lungs and all of this 5:58 information was available to Adrian 5:59 Arseno, the CDC and the national at the 6:02 time they told us don't believe it to be 6:04 true. So they with the billions of 6:07 dollars that they have from the people 6:09 of Canada and the federal government, 6:12 they failed to tell us this. And it's 6:15 probably not because they didn't know 6:16 how. It's probably because they were 6:18 acting as a state broadcaster. [snorts] 6:21 The next thing they did was when the 6:23 vaccine 6:24 >> Can I just stop you because don't we now 6:26 with the Fouchy diaries it it's pretty 6:30 clear that this lab leak theory is very 6:33 very probable. 6:35 >> The US Congress issued a report that it 6:36 was def definite. The the US FBI has 6:39 issued a report that it is definite from 6:41 the lab. And but my point here is in the 6:45 moment it was provable and a journalist 6:48 would have proved it or at least 6:50 strongly pointed the finger. Not only 6:52 was it probable, but it was the most 6:54 likely scenario at the moment that she 6:57 was telling us don't believe your father 6:59 if he says cuz he's kind of dumb cuz 7:01 dads are. This is this was a scenario 7:03 that they were creating because they 7:05 were not exercising the journalism that 7:07 we expected them to do. They were simply 7:09 exercising state propaganda. And it gets 7:12 worse, Mr. Buckley. 7:14 By December, we had a vaccine. 7:17 Ridiculously lightning speed, 7 months 7:19 to a vaccine. And they bypassed the 7:22 parents entirely 7:24 and an arm of CBC called CBC Kids where 7:28 they broadcast this on December 16th, 7:30 2020. 7:31 >> So, you're a vaccine researcher. How 7:34 confident are you that this vaccine is 7:36 safe? So the vaccine has been tested in 7:40 thousands and thousands of people and to 7:43 have shown no significant safety 7:46 concerns. So because it's been given to 7:50 so many people and they haven't had a 7:52 problem, I think that you can feel safer 7:56 getting this vaccine um knowing that no 8:00 no problems have been recognized so far. 8:05 There are three things interesting about 8:06 that scientific that science uh 8:08 scientist. Number one, she choked on her 8:11 final uh phrase. No significant safety 8:13 concerns have been found so far. 8:15 Normally when somebody's doing that, 8:17 they repeat themselves. They stutter. 8:18 They stumble. It's because they're 8:19 trying to remember a script. I I picked 8:21 up on it. The second thing that was 8:23 horrifying to me is there's a tension 8:25 track underneath that. You couldn't 8:26 quite hear it on the volume we have 8:27 here. It's subliminal. Dun dun dun dun. 8:31 It's on there, right? It was also on the 8:33 national news piece with Adrienne 8:34 Arseno. And when she went to interview 8:36 somebody who said, "I'm an expert and I 8:38 uh I I know how to how to talk to your 8:40 father." The music changed to LA. This 8:43 is a Hollywood emotional manipulation 8:46 trick to get to to get us to think and 8:49 feel a certain way. The CDC was using 8:51 this in their news items to to promote 8:53 fear and to promote uh to to move us 8:58 toward the solution that they wanted us 8:59 to believe in their intentional 9:01 manipulation. The most interesting thing 9:03 about this on December 16th is that she 9:05 said there was no safety signals. 9:08 However, 4 days prior on December 12th, 9:11 Health Canada had issued its first 9:13 warning, its first bulletin that it was 9:15 monitoring cases of anaphilaxis. So 9:18 that's not nothing. CDC kids. That's not 9:20 total safety. That's not no safety 9:22 concerns. That's anaphilaxis 4 days 9:25 prior. And that scientist was giving 9:28 misinformation to the children. 9:31 Only 4 months after that, so 16 weeks 9:34 later, Public Health Ontario published 9:36 that there were 20 reports of blood 9:38 clots, seven reports of acute 9:39 cardiovascular injury. That sounds 9:41 pretty severe to me. Acute kidney 9:44 injury, skin lesions, acute respiratory 9:46 distress. Respiratory distress means you 9:48 can't breathe and seven reports of death 9:52 in Ontario alone. Did CBC kids go back 9:55 on and say, "Listen, kids, the story has 9:57 changed. It's emerging. We have new 9:59 information." No. They continued to say, 10:02 "Go get the vaccine. It'll release you 10:04 from the confines of your parents' 10:06 basement." 10:07 A reporter at CBC Manitoba 10:10 started to get so many phone calls from 10:12 vaccine injured people that she did a 10:14 story about it. She did her job. She's a 10:15 35-year veteran named Marian Cloak and 10:19 she knows how to do her job. She phoned 10:20 around to university experts across 10:22 Canada and she learned that there were 10:24 actually safety signals by this time of 10:26 myocarditis and paricarditis. They these 10:29 these university experts who were in the 10:31 field said that uh this was happening. 10:34 It was posted on the health Canada 10:35 website. It was being witnessed 10:37 internationally and she put a story 10:38 together and CBC Manitoba 10:41 censored the story. They said you can't 10:44 say that. it will promote vaccine 10:45 hesitancy. And she replied, "That's not 10:48 my job to promote hesitancy or to 10:52 cheerlead the vaccine. My job is to tell 10:54 the truth of what's happening in this 10:55 country." They sent the story down to 10:57 CBC Toronto for vetting. This has never 10:59 happened to her before in her 35 year 11:01 career as a broadcaster at CBC. And it 11:04 took 5 weeks for them to come back with 11:06 an answer. She was pointing out at the 11:08 time that this was an urgent story, but 11:11 they said you can put those people on 11:13 who claim that they're injured by the 11:14 vaccine, but you can't put those two 11:16 learned scientists on who say that these 11:19 are red flags and we have paricarditis 11:20 and myocarditis and we have other death 11:22 red flags and they're posting it on the 11:24 the Health Canada website. Not allowed 11:26 to put them on. You have to put approved 11:29 scientists on. 11:32 She had never heard this before. So, 11:33 Maryann Kloak, uh you can't see the 11:36 picture here, but she said, "I quit. I'm 11:39 triggering my uh my retirement. I'm 11:42 leaving the CBC." And she later 11:45 testified at the National Citizens 11:46 School Inquiry here in Ottawa. I 11:48 witnessed in a very short time the 11:50 collapse of journalism, news gathering, 11:52 and investigative reporting at the CBC. 11:55 The way I saw it, we were in fact 11:56 pushing propaganda. Those are her words. 11:59 around that same time in order to combat 12:02 the problem I suppose that the 12:04 government had. But it was also to me it 12:06 was an emerging story. These more and 12:08 more people were getting injured by 12:09 these vaccines that we were being told 12:10 were safe and effective. Safe and 12:12 effective. Safe and effective. This is 12:14 what a state broadcaster does. It's a 12:16 hypnotic thing. It's a way to brainwash 12:18 the public. So the federal government 12:21 established a fund of $1.75 million and 12:24 gave it to a a nent group of two people. 12:27 It was called Science Up First and it 12:29 was run by a uh a lawyer, oddly enough, 12:32 not even a scientist. He is his name is 12:35 Timothy Caulfield and many people may 12:37 have seen him. He's been on every every 12:40 media in the country and he goes on and 12:42 tells you that not only that you have to 12:44 take a vaccine, but if you don't that 12:45 there's something wrong with you 12:46 mentally. The the the mandate of science 12:49 up first was to get as many Canadians as 12:51 possible vaccinated against COVID 19. 12:53 And so Mr. Cfield surrounded himself 12:56 with actual scientific experts and they 12:58 became the independent experts that the 13:00 CBC would go to. We used to call it the 13:02 golden rolodex. People that you knew you 13:04 could bring on and you knew what they 13:06 were going to say. But they were the 13:07 only ones allowed on. The ones that Mary 13:09 and Kak got who were raising wet red 13:11 flags on behalf of Canada and trying to 13:13 tell Canadians be careful were not 13:15 allowed on the CBC. Only these ones were 13:17 allowed on the CBC. The same month that 13:20 CBC suppressed that story that Marian 13:23 Klo had that their vaccine injuries were 13:26 numer were were numbering in the 13:27 hundreds and the thousands, CBC Manitoba 13:30 posted any claims that COVID 19 vaccines 13:33 may have long-term side effects are 13:35 completely untrue. 13:38 >> Hi, if you're an American living abroad, 13:40 you can still vote. The Center for US 13:43 Voters Abroad Turnout Project can help 13:45 you register and request your absentee 13:48 ballot with one easy to use online form. 13:51 2026 is a midter. And they knew this was 13:55 a lie because their own reporter had a 13:56 story that it wasn't untrue. An 13:58 infectious disease expert recently told 14:01 CBC Radio's White Coat Blackart. So 14:04 instead of quoting Health Canada's 14:06 website or the people who were injured, 14:08 they quoted themselves. This was a self 14:10 self-referential story and they quoted a 14:13 show called White Coat Black Art. You 14:15 can't get more authoritative. It's 14:16 hosted by a medical doctor, Brian 14:18 Goldman. This guy's one of my heroes. 14:20 He's a medical he's he's a emergency 14:22 room doctor in a busy hospital in 14:24 downtown Toronto and he has two radio 14:26 shows and he took all of the trust of 14:27 that 25 years and he flipped it against 14:29 me like a judo move 14:32 to harm me. He put Tara Moriardi on, 14:35 identified her as an infectious disease 14:37 researcher at the University of Toronto. 14:40 He didn't mention that she's a founder 14:42 of Science Up First, which took a 14:44 million.75 from the federal government 14:47 to promote vaccine uptake. That was a 14:50 half truth from that definition of 14:52 propaganda I gave you a moment ago. That 14:55 was a lie by concealment. It was a lie 14:58 by omission. Brian Goldman lied to us 15:01 and then so did Tara Morardi. She said, 15:04 "We don't have any evidence that the 15:06 vaccines cause anything but immunity 15:10 against COVID 19." On the day she said 15:13 it, Health Canada, now I don't know why 15:15 my slides aren't showing here, but 15:17 Health Canada 15:19 had reported 119 deaths already from the 15:23 COVID vaccine. You have to understand, 15:25 Mr. Allison, who reports this? Not 15:28 anyone gets access to these these uh 15:30 lists on Health Canada. It has to be an 15:32 attending physician who signs off on the 15:34 death certificate or some other health 15:36 professional that's involved with the 15:38 death and that information goes to the 15:40 provincial health authority which then 15:42 sends it to Health Canada. So there's a 15:43 big vetting process before they list 119 15:46 dead Canadians while the CDC is saying 15:49 to Canada that they have no evidence. No 15:52 wonder people were dying from this 15:53 vaccine. They were told that this wasn't 15:56 true on a regular basis. Now, imagine if 16:00 young Sean Hartman, whose father just 16:02 testified here, who died from the 16:04 vaccine, 16:06 had known that. Imagine if CBC Kids was 16:09 on his television. He was in that range, 16:13 that 18-year-old range for myocarditis 16:16 and paricarditis. Imagine if Marian 16:18 Cloak's story had been broadcast like 16:21 every one of her other stories in her 35 16:23 year career and that had gone up like a 16:25 public broadcaster does to the national 16:27 level and had gone across the country in 16:31 June of 2021. 16:33 Would Shawn have taken the vaccine if 16:35 he'd known that people were dying? Even 16:37 if it was only some people, even if it 16:38 was only a tiny minority, would he have 16:40 taken it? 16:43 The next story that emerged was the 16:45 thing didn't work. So, not only had it 16:47 been established by Health Canada that 16:49 was not completely safe, but now it 16:51 wasn't completely effective. So, CBC's 16:54 cross country checkup with Ian Hannah, 16:56 again, one of my heroes. I love this 16:57 guy. I used to look up to him. He's he's 16:59 so easy on the air. He's easy to believe 17:01 the way he talks, but he used that trust 17:04 and he turned it against us like a 17:06 revolver with a one bullet in the 17:08 chamber and we don't know how many 17:09 chambers. Pointed directly at us. He put 17:11 Isaac Bogot on from Science Up First and 17:13 didn't identify, concealed that from the 17:15 public and instead said he's simply an 17:18 infectious disease expert and clearly 17:21 this is a three-do vaccine was his 17:23 message. A number of months later, it 17:25 still wasn't working. So Isaac Bogos 17:27 went into overdrive and the rest of 17:29 science up first. He was on CBC Metro 17:31 morning, the flagship radio show in 17:32 Toronto, saying when to get your fourth 17:34 dose. He was on CBC News in October 17:36 saying get your no next dose every 6 17:38 months. He was on the National with 17:41 Andrew Chang. Who looks more trustworthy 17:43 and honest than Andrew Chang, you know, 17:45 but he betrayed his audience and all of 17:48 Canada that night when he put this guest 17:50 on and called him an infectious disease 17:52 specialist and didn't mention he was 17:53 paid by the government to make you take 17:55 a vaccine. It was a trick. 17:59 On the same day he said it, the death 18:01 toll was now up to 370 dead Canadians, 18:04 reported by Canadian medical officials 18:06 while they were doing this. So my point 18:09 is that a journalist looks at Health 18:10 Canada data and doesn't tell you that 18:13 people are dying. And by this point 18:15 there was over,00 myocarditis and 18:17 paricarditis mostly young men. This was 18:19 a safety signal emerging while they were 18:21 selling saying go get another dose and 18:24 don't worry it's totally safe and 18:25 effective. I wonder if this woman was 18:28 listening to the CBC. Carol Pierce died 18:30 in minute seven in her 50-minute waiting 18:33 period after she got the vaccine. The 18:35 coroner said she died of natural causes. 18:39 So, we really have to suspend our 18:40 disbelief here that she was going to die 18:43 anyway in the Shoppers Drug Mart at that 18:45 moment and that the confounding 18:47 interference of the injection into her 18:48 arm 7 minutes before was irrelevant. 18:50 This is even bigger than trying to 18:52 suspend her disbelief that it didn't 18:53 come from the lab when when the lab 18:55 itself was publishing what they were 18:56 doing with the Corona virus that emerged 18:58 in their city. Her daughter 19:02 posted the last text thread where her 19:05 mother wrote, "The last words of this 19:07 woman before she died was waiting the 15 19:10 minutes, lol." 19:12 This is the type of social media post 19:14 that the CBC would declare was 19:15 misinformation. 19:18 They shamed and blamed, belittled, 19:21 humiliated, and bullied. I had never 19:22 seen anything like this. This goes 19:24 beyond what China did. This is this is 19:26 getting into North Korea level of state 19:27 broadcasting where they they actually 19:30 attacked people who were telling the 19:32 truth and they dismissed it because it 19:34 was social media which is now the only 19:36 truthful media we have because the CBC 19:39 was clearly and I'm showing evidence 19:40 here. I'm submitting this. It was lying 19:42 to us by now. They called them 19:44 antivaxers, conspiracy theorists and 19:46 misinformation on social media. These 19:48 phrases may sound familiar to you. I'm 19:51 going to break down this language for a 19:53 moment. It's pure censorship. An 19:55 antivaxer is meant to make you think 19:57 they're unreasonable. A conspiracy 20:00 theorist is meant to make you think 20:01 they're delusional. They have a mental 20:03 illness of some sort. They're paranoid. 20:05 And misinformation means they're 20:07 practicing mischief. Nobody wants to be 20:09 accused of these things. So, this is how 20:11 censorship works really effectively. You 20:13 don't want to be called this. So, you 20:15 don't speak up. You self censor. You 20:18 shut the hell up instead of coming 20:20 forward with the truth. This is the 20:22 language of propaganda and it's 20:24 extremely effective and I want to tell 20:26 everyone here today this is a little 20:28 trick. I'm trained to do this so I 20:30 understand it. But the next time you're 20:32 listening to any media or reading any 20:34 media and you hear the phrase antivaxer, 20:37 conspiracy theorist or misinformation, 20:40 you are listening to propaganda. 20:43 Understand that from this day forward. 20:46 Your life may depend on it. 20:49 By March 1st, 2023, so many Canadians 20:52 were disgusted and upset with the CBC 20:55 for not reporting this story that 150 of 20:58 them went at dawn down to the CBC 21:00 headquarters on Front Street in Toronto 21:02 and plastered flyers with their faces, 21:05 their names, their injuries, the stories 21:08 of their dead loved ones on the front 21:10 page on the front entrance of the CBC. 21:12 You could not have been a CBC employee 21:14 entering in the main entrance that day 21:15 and not have seen this. 21:18 They were saying, "Okay, we're willing 21:20 to commit a minor act of vandalism here 21:23 in order to get you to pay attention. We 21:24 don't know what else could work." 21:28 But near as I can figure, 21:30 CBC security just went out and took the 21:33 posters down 21:34 and these people were not interviewed. 21:38 My guess is that they couldn't be 21:39 interviewed because if you take 150 of 21:42 them, statistically probably about 10 or 21:44 15 of them are going to say to the 21:46 interviewer, you know, I believed you. 21:48 You did this to me. Adrien Arseno, Ian, 21:51 Hannah Mansing, Brian Goldman, I can 21:53 name 10 others. You did that. I trusted 21:56 you. They they were stuck because they 21:58 couldn't call them an antivaxer. They'd 22:00 all been vaccinated. They couldn't say 22:02 this is misinformation. They were only 22:04 describing their own truly lived 22:06 experience 22:07 and they couldn't call them a conspiracy 22:09 theorist because they weren't saying 22:10 anything other than I got vaccine 22:12 vaccinated and I'm injured. Please tell 22:14 the story. By January 19th, Health 22:18 Canada 2024, Health Canada had listed 22:21 488 dead Canadians reported by their 22:24 medical professionals on their website. 22:27 The safety signals of paricarditis and 22:29 myocarditis were now officially on the 22:31 Health Canada website. Now imagine if 2 22:35 and 1/2 years prior the CBC had simply 22:37 let Mary and Kowak do her story and not 22:39 censored her. Imagine if the CBC 22:41 national had done the story and followed 22:43 this as it emerged. Never mind that it 22:45 didn't work. It was killing people. Now 22:48 yes, they will say 22:50 it wasn't everybody. It was only some 22:53 people. And the biggest emerging story 22:55 that I see on this page is that of the 22:58 488 deaths, Mr. Allison 484 of them have 23:03 been dismissed as non-causal. 23:05 So when a doctor sees somebody die and 23:08 has has the toarity to write on the 23:11 death certificate CO 19, how does some 23:15 review panel at a later date dismiss 23:17 close to 100% of them? Now instead of 23:21 examining this as an investigative 23:23 report, journalists will say, "Well, see 23:25 that only only four of them really 23:27 died." Still not none like they say. 23:32 But how is it that they dismiss almost 23:34 100% of them? In this regard, CBC, in my 23:39 observation, is equated with the state 23:42 broadcasters of North Korea, Syria, and 23:45 China. I lived and worked in these 23:47 countries. I heard it happen. I was 23:49 trained at the CBC on how to be a 23:51 journalist, and I watched it morph 23:53 during CO. It's propaganda from the top 23:55 down. It's intentional manipulation of 23:57 public opinion through lies, halftruths, 24:00 and disinformation. And by 24:01 disinformation, I mean a lie with intent 24:04 to mislead. And that's why this inquiry 24:07 is here. If the CBC had done its job, 24:11 we wouldn't be here doing this. We need 24:14 an MP like you to call an inquiry 24:17 because the billion dollar CBC failed 24:19 us. But it's possible that it didn't 24:23 because its assignment changed. It is no 24:25 longer a public broadcaster. It's a 24:28 state broadcaster and it did as it was 24:30 told. 24:31 Thank you very much for listening today. 24:33 I wanted to come here and tell you what 24:34 I've observed to be true. 24:36 >> Well, thank you, Mr. Paul. You certainly 24:38 won't. Yeah. Well, there we go. 24:46 You You won't get any disagreement for 24:47 me, but I'm going to turn it over to Mr. 24:49 Moss for a question. 24:51 >> Thank you very much for your uh your 24:53 cander today. 24:55 Your last statement is, you know, 24:58 created a question for me. Now, as a 25:00 state broadcaster, obviously CBC did not 25:03 act alone. So, are you suggesting that 25:06 they were prompted by the state? 25:09 I don't know who prompted them. I do 25:12 know that they shifted their allegiance 25:15 from the people of Canada to an 25:17 organization called the trusted news 25:19 initiative which was a standards 25:21 organization which virtually all 25:24 mainstream media in North America and 25:26 worldwide subscribed to just prior to co 25:30 and this standards organization and this 25:33 is research that I've done um would give 25:35 them story ideas such as how to out lies 25:39 on social media how to shame and blame 25:42 I can guess that it was a directive that 25:46 would have come from the president of 25:47 the CBC, but I don't know. 25:50 >> And this this news uh background like a 25:55 press would we would think of it, but 25:57 that you just mentioned, what was the 25:58 name again? 26:00 >> The trusted news initiative. 26:02 >> It it came out of England. It's it's a 26:04 it's a a kind of a murky organization. 26:07 Um it's uh it's difficult to research 26:10 who they are, what they are, where when 26:12 they started, but they had you have to 26:15 understand that this the reason I'm 26:16 talking here about the CBC because it's 26:18 a crown corporation funded by federal 26:20 tax dollars in in its entirety. But it's 26:22 not alone. What I've just said here 26:24 could go for just about any news 26:26 organization, the Glob and Mail, the 26:27 National Post, Global TV, CTV, many of 26:30 my former employers. I worked in these 26:32 organizations and I saw them doing the 26:34 same thing. and they were all members of 26:36 this trusted news initiative. 26:38 >> Well, I I just want to thank you for 26:40 confirming what many of us have been 26:42 saying for many many years of the 26:45 obvious bias by [clears throat] our 26:47 mainstream media, especially our state 26:49 fund broadcaster. Um, so thank you for 26:52 uh for your honorship today. You're 26:54 >> welcome and thank you. And we are out of 26:56 time. And Mr. Palmer, I I somebody had 26:58 sent me a video of you talking at a 27:00 barbecue and when I saw you the 27:02 conversation, I said I I talked to Sean. 27:04 I said, I think we need to have him in 27:05 to help frame what we're up against. And 27:08 so, you've done an awesome job. And like 27:10 every witness, we really should have you 27:12 here for an hour, but we didn't have the 27:14 time and we need to make room for more 27:15 time. So, thank you very much for your 27:17 presentation and uh I think probably 27:20 confirming some of the some of the 27:21 things we suspected already, but I we 27:23 appreciate it you laying it out in such 27:25 an articulate way. 27:30 Yeah. So, the every witness's slide deck 27:33 and photos will are forming exhibits and 27:37 we'll have a page for each witness with 27:39 their, you know, video of their 27:41 testimony and the exhibits. So, thank 27:44 you.
